Natura Selection

Natura is a chain of fashion and home goods stores founded in 1992 with a national and international presence.

The brand already used the Shopify platform for its online business with individual customers, but it had not digitized its B2B sales channel. This channel is composed of its own and franchised stores that place their orders with a brand distributor.

This type of online sale is very different since the collection begins to be sold when it is designed and has not yet been manufactured, all while the current collection is being sold in stores.

The main challenges of this project were the following:

  • Catalogs of various collections coincide in time in the B2B store, and each client must see products according to business needs, all properly classified.
  • Pre-order or new collection orders operate without stock but with minimum conditions set by the brand.
  • Replenishment orders are for all clients, both for own products and those from suppliers approved by the brand, and are subject to specific inventory rules that vary with conditions.
  • The B2B portal distinguishes between proprietary store clients and franchises because there are differentiated processes.
  • Sales agents are an important part of the sale and are identified in the online store to work with their assigned accounts, helping their clients in all their business processes.

Making these B2B channel management needs coexist has been the challenge and success of the project, which processes orders for hundreds of lines with many transactions and a heavy workload during new launch periods.

The selected technology was Shopify Plus.
