Genset Components is a company specializing in spare parts for generator sets, electrical material, manufacturing electrical panels, among others, offering international logistics services.
After several years of operating its D2C digital sales channel on an on-premise platform, it needed to boost sales and productivity and decided to migrate to Shopify to improve its conversion and for its functionalities to manage international sales. The main challenges of the project were:
- Designing and implementing the online store with the Shopify platform, addressing the peculiarities of selling technical products and the brand's international expansion.
- Connecting processes with SAP Business ONE to automate operations as much as possible.
- Migrating the necessary information from the on-premise platform to Shopify.
- Enabling sales on marketplaces through the ShoppingFeed aggregator, connecting with ERP and Shopify to boost productivity (more sales without more staff).
