B2B Summit Madrid

On November 6, Gonzalo Casado, CEO of the company, attended the 3rd edition of the B2B Summit in Madrid.

The event, organized into individual presentations and discussion panels, focused on topics related to AI, market trend analysis, and growth forecasts in B2B, with an expected year-end closing around 75 billion euros.

Gonzalo gave a presentation in which he highlighted Upango's way of working, starting from a deep understanding of each client's business model to design an effective strategy that includes sales, marketing, and user experience (UX).

If you couldn't attend, you can find the video of the presentation here.

He then discussed several projects in which companies from various sectors have already digitized their sales processes with Shopify. Examples include GreenIce, Helmets, and Garys.

The event also featured six roundtables that addressed various current topics.

In the first, Nais, Ricoh, and Skinvity discussed how digital transformation is redefining businesses, enabling native B2C companies to start working in B2B. Key takeaways include:

· The need to design differentiated strategies by segment.

· The importance of content and user experience in both B2B and B2C.

· Combining the physical market with digital tools to serve all types of clients.

· The use of AI as a fundamental tool for improving efficiency and personalization.

Gonzalo Casado moderated the second panel of the day, a panel featuring Xerox, AMIG Yuten Natural, and Foreo, focused on the role of digital marketing in B2B.

The most important points are:

· The need for in-depth customer knowledge.

· Adapting messages to each market, especially in international companies.

· Consistency in every communication action across all channels.

If you couldn't attend, you can find the video of the roundtable here.

The third debate topic focused on the safe internationalization of SMEs, led by Crédito y Caución, Atradius Collections, and Alibaba.com.

During the conversation, the lack of trust was highlighted as one of the most significant obstacles to expanding into international markets, and the tools that these companies provide to SMEs to help them in this process were presented.

The fourth roundtable focused on analyzing current challenges, technological changes, and trends that will shape the sector. It featured the participation of New Relic, LG España, ProfesorCBD, Cool Pets, and 20milproductos.com.

Among the challenges discussed, we highlight:

· Providing value to the end customer.

· Operational efficiency based on integration with partners.

· Using data as key information for sales teams.

· Balancing automation and professional relationships.

Regarding future trends, AI, hybrid physical-digital models, and extreme personalization are positioned as the most important.

The quality of service and commercial relationship capacity were also discussed as other pillars of B2B development. This was addressed in the last roundtable, which included Eurotex, DMI Computer, and Gant, where the need to strengthen internal training and communication, work on the personal development of commercial relationships, and automate processes where possible was emphasized.

Finally, it was the turn of marketplaces and their role in B2B, this time with Civitatis and Majorica.

During the debate, the power of marketplaces to increase brand visibility and enable international expansion, without losing focus on commercial relationships, was highlighted.
